It's been rumored since '97 or '98. Hasn't happened yet, but I wouldn't be suprised if this tour with Dave doesn't spur him on into doing something. Similar thing happened with Broken China being created as a result of getting geared up during The Division Bell tour. I'm sure he has some material lying around in need of an appreciative audience.

That would be really interesting if Rick released a 3rd solo album of his own like David. I would definitely buy it. :)

Seems like he didn't just join up with David's tour for nothing. If he is in fact planning a new album, the OAI tour would be invaluable promotion for him. That, and it would also give him practise and inspiration for his own album, which would probably feature David or Guy somewhere on it.

Something like this won't be out until 2007 or 2008, probably.
