It wouldve been a fit ending, but now they played again, its like when youre ocd and you didnt get a good last ending. Theyre gonna keep doing one off shows im sure. Deep down you can see dave love being up there with those guys.
I think you're right! :) rocker

I would love to see them get back together, post roger though. To be honest I dont think I want to see a waters run pink floyd ever again, and I think they did a great job without him. He was good to floyd early in there years but he turned into such a control freak that I think that it wasnt worth what he was giving to the band to put up with it.

(P.S. Please dont kill me roger waters fans. :D )

"BOOM-BOOM! BANG-BANG! Lie down, you're dead!

'At's okay, man....I know what you're saying. And I'd be perfectly happy for the post-Waters Floyd to do something new too. :)

Perhaps you should delete them then???

Anyways, I wouldn't mind seeing either a pro or post Roger Pink Floyd. I believe that if they ever did form again it would be a group lead thing, that is why Roger would probably never agree to it, but still wouldn't mind either way.

I'd be perfectly happy to see the post-Waters Floyd do something again, too, and I have a feeling that it would be even more of a group album than "Division Bell" was (for example, these days, Dave seems to be even more willing to have Rick take lead vocals than he was in the post-Waters Floyd).

I'd be happy to see a Roger Waters-led Floyd, too, but what I'd REALLY like to see is all 4 members making a collaborative album like Meddle or Dark Side of the Moon again. Let Waters handle the concepts and lyrics, but let all 4 of them write music and all of them (except maybe Nick) sing lead vocals.

Y'know, it DOES seem that Rick ended up singing lead vocals on Floyd's final performance! It's a sad fact that the performance of Arnold Layne looks almost certain to have been the last performance under the name "Pink Floyd" ever.

but still . . . I can't wrap my head around that prospect.
It's true, but i's hard to take, nonetheless

Regardless, after the asinine way that the cameras ignored Rick during the Live 8 performance, it's nice that PF went out with him on lead vocals.

Y'know... I wonder if that was Rick's last performance too?
