I myself haven't but a former colleague of my Dad's had the pleasure of tuning his piano.
He had a chat with him, but he didn't know who he was. he knew he was a drummer by the kit in the corner.
He looked around the room to see as many platinum discs as you could imagine, to which point he asks "Are you in a band?"
Nick Mason replied saying "Yeah, used to. But not for a while now."
My Dad's friend then said the worst thing he could have said: "Did you do pubs?"
Mason calmly said "Not in a long, long time, mate."

I've not met him but I know he lives in a town about 6 miles from my permanent address (I live in uni halls most of the time) and I know loads of people who have met him. Apparently he's quite easy to spot as he's seen in town quite often, I've just never had a very good reason to go there as it's not a very exciting place! Oh and apparently he'll happily talk to any fans if they go up to him!

I met him at a booksigning at Barnes & Nobles in NY City. He was very funny and personable during the interview and while he was signing the books he was very nice and talkative. Seems like a really good guy.

I have an orignal Animals album signed by Nick. He also done several drawings inside the album cover...the album itself still has the "Factory Sample Only; Not For Sale" on the label...must be worth something now... :cool:

Yes, me and Jintzey met him on Oct. 6 at the Hollywood Bowl show. Very nice chap Nick Mason is. Got his autograph too!
