I read that Pink actually did shave himself and wasn't scripted to do it, but was the glass-through-the-hand real?

Interesting question, and I'm not sure about this, but if I had to guess, I would say with pretty good certainty, that it was most likely "movie magic" that made it look like "pink's" hand was injured by glass. Is pretty graphic and real looking though.

I heard the glass was real but was an accident. I guess he just played along with it figuring the show must go on! :D

Poor Geldof looks 3x more emiciated than he did during The Wall. Stringy hair and all. I think he looks kind of cool. Very heroin addict. I'm working on that look to little avail.

In the commentary of Roger on the Wall somewhere he tells that some stuff is biographical from his or others lifes.
So was the shaving of the body hear a thing that Syd did.

So I guess it was scripted for the movie.
