I think Depp just wants to play another weird role. He's already been Edward Scissorhands, a pirate, and a perverted version of Charlie. How about a psychedelic rock star of the late 60's who took loads of acid and went insane? It's right up Depp's alley. ???

If you watch a show called BSG, there is a young guy that looks exactly like Roger. He is one of the new-pilots. I may be wrong but he might be called "hotdog".

I don't know his real name but could look it up.

He is Bodie James Olmos. He is the younger son of actor/director/activist Edward James Olmos and artist Kaija Keel and the grandson of the late actor Howard Keel.

They'll never do a Floyd movie though. I mean, unless it's some awful tv movie. It would be cool though. As long as it wasn't as contrived as the Doors movie. That sucked. BTW, totally off topic, but has anyone else read that Roger Daltrey wants to make a movie about Keith Moon? He wanted Mike Meyers to play Keith. Personally, I think Jason Schwartzman would be perfect. Not only does he look A LOT like Moon, he's a drummer too. He was in that band that does the song California for the O.C. Plus he was in a bunch of movies too. Okay, back to topic, would a movie about Floyd be worth it if the guys didn't give permission to use the actual music? I think that would annoy me.

If Bodie is smart he should try out for Rogers play (Wall) on Broadway. He could play Pink if he can sing.
