If you watch Pompeii, Mademoiselle Nobs, you'll see that Dave is playing the harmonica, Roger is playing Daves "Black Strat", Rick is holding the mic for Nobs and Nick isn't there. So who's playing bass? There's definately bass there, I can hear it on my audio rip.

Yeah, I noticed this myself. My friend Alex and I were talking about it. The bass had to be overdubbed later on, but by whom, I'm unsure.

Probably overdubbed by Roger or David later on. Or my Mademoiselle Nobs herself. :sleepy:

The overdubbing and the French studio shots let Pompeii down IMO, but I still love it Cool

The alternate setting in the French studio makes the film even more expansive and interesting to me. Do you know what my favorite bit from the French footage is? When Rick Wright runs his fingers up and down the keyboard during is solo in the bridge of "Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun". I love the camera work.

Actually I think it was overdubbed by Roger. Dave's style is different than what's played in that song.
