If you believe in an after-life and/or God, you have to wonder if God has talked to Syd since his passing. I can just see God telling Syd how he gave him all this talent, good looks et-all & why did you blow it by frying your brain out on LSD?
I can also see Syd giving him that look & asking why he gave him a "long dormant" brain disorder that was exasperated by drugs? I would love to sit w/him, have a cup of tea & just ask him what happened. He had it all (Or maybe he didn't in his eyes!). He'd probably say that it wasn't what he thought it would be, too many demands & he had to toss his artistic integrity out the window. I always thought he was the purest "artist" I had ever known of & "too many people got in the way". But that's just me I guess. I just have so many ?? that will never be answered.....Sorry!
