what if you met Syd now, what do you think he would say if you tried to ask him about Pink Floyd? does he even remember being in the band, or does he just choose not to think about it?

I've got no idea. I don't think he's got memory loss; why wouldn't he remember? But I only know as much as you. We'd only know by meeting him.

From what I've read, Syd remembers Pink Floyd, but chooses to completely disassociate himself from it. I hear he gets very upset when people bring up Pink Floyd or any of its members, he won't see or speak to any of them. I think if he did talk to them there would finally be some closure, both for him and the band.

Yes that's true. I think that Syd would like to forget his past with Pink Floyd and live on alone. But then again, nobody knows but himself.
