Does Anyone Want to Buy my Roger Waters tickets? Wembley Arena Show on September 14th

September 6th, 2013 by admin

Update: The show has now taken place and the tickets are no longer available.

If anyone is curious, I was unable to sell them, but I knew it was really short notice so I wasn’t surprised.

Was anyone at this show? Care to comment on what we missed? How was it? Leave a comment, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Hi there – webmaster/admin of Pink Floyd Online here.

I have (really awesome!) tickets to the Wembley Arena show but will be unable to attend. I am expecting to receive them in the mail on Monday (9/9/13). These are a pair of tickets in a luxury box for the show in London at Wembley Stadium on September 14th.

Stay tuned for more info! If you are at all interested, please email me at if you would like more info on Monday when I receive them, or leave a comment on this post.

The tickets are valued at £600 ($937) but I will be letting them go for less.

UPDATE 1 – 9/6/13 – 3:12PM: I am asking $700 which will include overnight air shipping to wherever you want the tickets. Also – I am in California, but can ship to London or really anywhere in the world. Time is of the essence, though! (Now asking $450 and tickets will be held at Will-Call)

UPDATE 2 – 9/7/13 – 3:12PM: OK TICKETS ARE HERE! I can accept payment through PayPal and let’s make it $500 OR BEST OFFER! I know this was such short notice so if you’re worried about the tickets getting to you in time, I will refund the money if they don’t. I’ll check with whoever I’m shipping with they can get there in time – and then monitor the tracking to make sure they do – And if they don’t – I’ll fully refund your PayPal back because the tickets are just going to go to waste anyways, so might as well try! Must let me know by 6PM PST tomorrow (Tuesday, September 10th!) This will be the latest the tickets can be shipped and make it to you in time. Email me at – which is also my PayPal email. (Tickets now will be held for whoever purchases at Will-Call)

UPDATE 3 – 9/11/13 – 10:12AM: NEW! I just confirmed with Wembley Arena that I can transfer these tickets into someones name and hold them at the will call for you! No need to worry now about the tickets not getting to you in time. Is anyone from London? These are 2 “VIP” seats in a LUXURY CORPORATE BOX SUITE! It’d be a shame if they went to waste! Asking $450 OBO now! Please contact me ASAP if you’re interested at

UPDATE 4 – 9/11/13 – 11:58AM: Added a pic of the tickets just now, too. No one has contacted me yet, surely someone out there must be interested! These are really amazing tickets in a corporate box. These are 2 tickets in Box 3017. To see what the view would be like from your seats, click here, then click “Boxes” then “3017″.

This is so Cool

July 5th, 2013 by admin

In June of 1973, Pink Floyd were performing on the Dark Side tour at Detroit’s Olympia Stadium, and the venue policy was to use only in-house staff who were more used to covering ice hockey events.

Using new animation and an actual recording of Pink Floyd lighting designer Arthur Max, it shows him grappling with the technical challenge of working with a brand-new follow-spot crew.

Roger Waters Playing a Song for Band-mates Birthday in Small Town Bar in New York

August 24th, 2012 by admin

Here’s a cool video from a couple nights ago of Roger Waters playing bass on a bluesy song for G.E. Smith’s 60th birthday party at a live music club in The Hamptons area of New York.

Roger says he’s a bit drunk but will try his best to play bass. He ends up playing quite well and looks like he’s having a great time.

G.E. Smith played guitar for Waters’ recent ‘Wall Live’ tour. He was also the musical director on Saturday Night Live for many years and the lead guitarist for Hall & Oates.

This video was from the day before yesterday, (Wednesday, August 22nd) at a bar called The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York. Amagansett has a population of 1,327 people.

After doing a little research, The Stephen Talkhouse is considered to be a bit of a “dive bar”, but a welcome change of scenery from some of the other area bars – which some have called “snooty”. (The Hamptons is a very exclusive part of New York, home to many famous musicians, movie stars, and otherwise rich people.)

The Stephen Talkhouse is a place you could show up in flip flops and a t-shirt if you wanted, let loose, have fun, and see some greats shows.

Even though it’s a rather small venue, many amazing bands and artists have played there, including Paul McCartney, The Who, and The Rolling Stones.

This was probably an amazing show to attend. It’s so much different, and more intimate, seeing great bands in smaller bars and venues like this.

What the Re-developed Battersea Power Station Will Look Like

What the Re-developed Battersea Powerstation Will Look Like - Can You Imagine Living Here?

Can You Imagine Living Here?

Back in June, we reported that the Battersea Power Station was purchased by developers who planned to turn the iconic Pink Floyd landmark into an Apartment Complex.

Pictures have now emerged of what the development will look like.

View higher-res pic.

I must say, as a huge Pink Floyd fan, I think it would be AWESOME to live here! I think it’s nice that they decided not to tear down the iconic structure and start from scratch.
